Intruder Alarms

Business Intruder Alarms

The importance of installing the correct intruder alarms cannot be underestimated. Especially when you have valuable equipment, date and documents within your business.

Installation

The importance of installing the correct intruder alarms cannot be underestimated. Especially when you have valuable equipment, date and documents within your business. Unfortunately, such a location can fall prey to the prying eyes of thieves, intruders and even vandals. With MSS you can be assured that our alarm systems will minimise and in some cases, eliminate such threats.

Design

Designed, installed and maintained to the latest British and European standards (along with with conformance to SSAIB), our alarm systems offer the correct protection your business deserves. Such a solution will be designed by our expert consultant who will work with you from inception to completion. The outcome will be a system that is unobtrusive, cost-effective and fully compliant with your insurers. To make that transition smoother, our consultant will also carry out staff training on how to use the new system. Such additional help, reflects our commitment towards providing you with the correct/optimum security solution.

Sectors

At MSS, our intruder alarms systems can be seen within various sectors. Examples vary from schools, offices, and warehouses to even historic buildings. With such proven success, its no surprise our name is synonymous with reliability, quality and the optimum/highest level of security.

Wired Vs Wireless

Using the latest technological advances, our systems are either wired or wireless.

Wired

A wired alarm system connects the sensors to the control panel via a network of wires (concealed within the walls and floors of your business) and then to the outside world using the telephone line.

Wireless

Our graded wireless system integrates individual sensors (throughout your business), which then communicate wirelessly to the central control panel. The control panel will then communicate wirelessly to the outside world using a cellular contact.

Types Of Intruder Alarm

At MSS, we have designed three systems specifically for the residential homeowner. Each system will be simple to use whilst inspiring confidence that your property, family and possessions are securely protected.

Bells Only

Our bells only systems make a high-pitched noise when your business is being broken into, which will hopefully scare intruders away. However, this type of alarm does not alert the police of the intrusion but, it will notify yourself, your neighbours or even a passer-by.

Speech Dialer

These systems incorporate a device being connected to an alarm. When triggered, the system immediately notifies all nominated parties with a pre-recorded message to let them know of the activation.

Monitored

MSS ‘monitored’ systems are connected via a telephone line to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The system is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by the centre. If the alarm is activated, the monitoring/receiving centre will instantly contact the keyholders or the Police (depending on your monitoring package).

Further Protection

Can be connected to a wide range of personal emergency transmitters (panic alarms) that enable an immediate response during emergencies.

Upgrades

Many businesses have an intruder alarm system installed as a condition of their insurance policy. However, over time these dated systems do not incorporate the latest technology and in some cases have not been maintained properly. In essence, they do not meet the current security needs and this only becomes evident when there is an incident.

Hence, It may be time to consider upgrading your intruder alarm system before such an event. This would involve having it re-surveyed by MSS to see if it meets your current security requirements. Having had the re-survey you may realise that you need a new wireless Intruder alarm system. On the other hand, you may find out that you only require additional sensors and the security panel is actually still suitable. Whatever the outcome, it’s important you re-assess your current system before its too late.
